Stone & Tile Flooring
Stone and Tile flooring are frequently used in homes around the world that are located in humid climates such as Florida because they keep cool and are resistant to the degradation properties of water. Stone and tile do not conduct heat well therefore they stay cool. Tile has a thermal conductivity constant of .002, where wood is .0005. Stone and tile are also resistant to moisture which is why it is often used in bathrooms.
- Quick Shine® Floor Finish is a water-borne polymer with an adhesion component in the formula that allows the polymer to adhere to tile and stone surfaces such as marble, ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, terrazzo® and other tile surfaces. Quick Shine® Floor Finish is a low-cost and environmentally conscientious means to deliver a deep, rich gloss to your stone and tile floors without damaging the grout or tile surface.
- In stone and tile settings it is very important that the surface is free of build-up, debris and soap residue, etc. before applying our finish . Thus, it is always a good idea to use Quick Shine® Deep Cleaner before applying the Finish in stone and tile settings.
- Keep it Clean. In between finish applications keep your tile surface clean with our Quick Shine® Microfiber Bonnet dampened with regular tap water or for heavier soil use the microfiber to apply our Quick Shine® Light Cleaner. Use our convenient, disposable Quick Spill® Floor Wipes for the everyday spills of life such as pet mistakes, food spills, footprints.
- Refresh the shine with a new finish gloss coat whenever you feel the floor needs a lift, typically every few months or so. Always clean the surface before applying the finish.

Laminate & Vinyl Flooring
Laminate and vinyl flooring are used in many homes as a practical and cost effective method to enhance a room. Our products were also designed with these types of floor surfaces in mind.
- Laminates are generally composed of four layers. The top layer is a protective vinyl coating that is applied over a layer that contains the wood floor substance or image. This top coat of vinyl is why you should never 'sand, wax or lacquer' your wood simulated laminate floors.
- Never flood coat your laminate surface with water. Laminate floors are glued or snap-locked into place and water should not be allowed to penetrate under the laminate.
- Since the protective layer is composed of vinyl, Quick Shine® Floor Finish is a marvelous way to pick up the shine and to protect the laminate surface.
- Vinyl flooring on the other hand is usually applied in tiles or sheets and can be made to appear as stone or wood surfaces. They are glued to the flooring substrate for adhesion of the vinyl material to the floor. Quick Shine® Floor Finish is an effective and easy way to polish these types of surfaces as well.
- Quick Shine® Floor Finish is a water-borne polymer with an adhesion component in the formula that allows the polymer to adhere to vinyl and laminate surfaces such as Pergo® Brand laminates and Armstrong® Brand vinyl floors. It is very important that the surface is clean before applying the finish. Therefore it is always a good idea to use Quick Shine® Light Cleaners with our clean microfiber white bonnet dampened with tap water before applying the finish.
- Quick Shine® Floor Finish is a low-cost and environmentally conscientious means to deliver a deep, rich gloss to your vinyl and laminate floors. In between finish applications keep your laminate and vinyl surfaces clean with our Quick Shine® Microfiber Bonnet dampened with regular tap water or for heavier soil use the microfiber to apply our Quick Shine® Light Cleaner.
