        Hi Jean,

We recommend using Quick Shine Deep Cleaner to remove the previous products so you can start with a clean floor. Simply dilute our Deep Cleaner with hot water and apply to 5′ sections at a time. Allow solution to sit for 3-4 minutes and mop away. You can also just spot treat the affected area. Quick Shine Deep Cleaner is only available online at this time at http://www.quickshine.net or http://www.walmart.com. Once the other products are removed and your floor is clean, we recommend Quick Shine Floor Finish to restore the color and beauty to your bamboo floors. For more information, please contact customer service at 800-255-1891. We are always happy to help!

          Hi Renee,

We recommend spot treating the affected areas with Quick Shine Deep Cleaner. Simply dilute our Deep Cleaner with hot water and apply to the affected area. Allow solution to sit for 3-4 minutes and wipe away. Once that area is clean and dry, reapply a few new coats of Quick Shine Floor Finish to even out the appearance of the floor again. Quick Shine Deep Cleaner is only available online at this time at http://www.quickshine.net or http://www.walmart.com. For more information, please contact customer service at 800-255-1891. I used this to clean up a matte finish hardwood floor when I was moving out of my rental apartment. The landlord complained it’s too shiny now and that I ruined his floor. Is there any way to get it off? I don’t want to lose my security deposit.

    Yours truly,

      Hi Ben,

Yes, we recommend removing Quick Shine Finish with Quick Shine Deep Cleaner. This product was specifically developed to remove polymer and wax finishes without harming hardwood floors or other types of hard surface floors such as tile, vinyl, stone, marble, and laminate.

Simply dilute the Deep Cleaner in HOT water and apply to the floor surface, let stand for a few minutes and agitate. Do small sections of the floor at a time. Then remove debris and build-up from the floor with a clear water rinse. For heavy buildup, you may need to increase the dilution of 1 cup per gallon to 3 cups per gallon. Deep Cleaner is concentrated, therefore one 27 oz. bottle will make roughly 2 gallons, which covers about 500 square feet and will not damage the sealant on hardwood floors. For more information, please contact customer service at 800-255-1891. We are always happy to help!
