      Hi Pete,

Splotchy areas could be caused from cleaners that have left residue behind preventing the finish from adhering to the floor. You can spot treat the area and reapply a new coat to see if that fixes the uneven areas.

This product was put on travertine. It has streak marks through the floor. Can it be reapplied ? How long should the drying process be to reapply?

          Hi Pauline,
You can apply a second application after one hour. We recommend applying your next coat with a lightly dampened microfiber mop to avoid streaks. If you do not achieve a good application the next time, we recommend removing our Finish with Quick Shine Deep Cleaner. This product is available online at http://www.walmart.com or on our website. Simply apply the Deep Cleaner and let sit for 2-3 minutes, then mop away the solution. You should be able to see if the residue is off of the floor. Finish with a clean water rinse to bring your floors back to their original condition. If paw prints occur almost immediately after application, the finish may not be fully dry or cured. It is important to dry dust only the first week after applying our Finish. Wipe spills immediately to avoid spotting. For additional assistance please contact customer service at 800-255-1891. We are always happy to help!

What should I use for maintenance cleaning in between Applications of Quick Shine? I have been cleaning my bamboo floors with Bona. Can I still use this weekly without removing the wax shine? Thanks for your advice!

      Hi Tamara,

We recommend dry dusting or damp mop with Quick Shine Cleaners (blue or purple labels) to maintain Quick Shine Finish. Unfortunately we have found many Bona products incompatible with our Finish and can dull/strip the shine. You can also damp mop with plain tap water if needed.

I just installed my LVP flooring and would like to maintain the shine on the flooring while cleaning. Is there a specific all-in-one product that you would recommend to clean and shine?

      Hi Carmen,

If you want to enhance the shine, for example if your new LVP has more of a matte finish and you prefer a gloss, we recommend using Quick Shine Floor Finish. This product is not a 2-in-1 unfortunately. It is key to first clean the floors to remove dust, debris and surface soil. We recommend starting with our Quick Shine Floor Cleaner (blue label) followed by the Finish (green label). After your initial application, you can simply damp mop with the blue label to maintain the beautiful shine.

Great product, I used these on 85 year old American Oak hardwood floors and the shine and luster was amazing. It actually looked like they were refinished. It saved me over $3k from having them refinished. I did 2 coats and ran out, wish I had bought more for another final coat but Home Depot was out.

I used Quick Shine on my faux hardwood vinyl floor. Much of the floor had a smooth luster, but everywhere I actually squirted the product, drip and splash marks remain. I’ve tried Windex and 409, which remove the luster, but neither cut the splash marks at all. It’s been two months, and I’ve been hoping that they gradually wear down to be less noticeable, but that is not the case. I’ve even tried paint thinner, but it is not the proper solvent to dissolve this product. Any suggestions?

      Hi Bryan,

You can spot treat any affected areas with Quick Shine Deep Cleaner or with Ammonia and HOT water. Simply apply the Deep Cleaner or Ammonia/Water and let sit for 2-3 minutes, then mop away the solution. Finish with a clean water rinse to bring your floors back to their original condition. Our Deep Cleaner is safe for any hard surface flooring. Then just reapply a new coat to the area to blend and even out the appearance. Hi
I want to try quick shine on my matte lvp floors. After the first application will I have to strip the quick shine to reapply in the future? Or do future applications go right over the previous?

      Hi Beatriz,

No, you do not have to remove existing applications prior to applying a new one. As long as you are not using the Finish excessively on a weekly basis, you should never have to remove it. We recommend applying the Finish every 2-6 months when needed. Simply dry dust or damp mop with Quick Shine Cleaner to maintain the shine.

    DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
Very upset. Used on my tile floors…as directed…and within a day, areas were flaking & peeling off. Tried to clean it and reapply but it only made it worse. My floors look wretched!!! Now we are trying to figure out how to strip the product off our floors and nothing is working. Not hot vinegar either. We will probably have to spend a few hundred dollars to have it professionally stripped. Maybe your company should pay for it. I AM LIVID.

      Hi Emily,
We are sorry to hear you did not achieve satisfactory results after applying Quick Shine Floor Finish to your floors. If moisture got on your tile shortly after applying the finish and it was still curing, the finish can peel or flake away. You can correct this with Quick Shine Deep Cleaner. Please contact customer service at 800-255-1891 for further assistance.
