Quick Solution to Drips & Overspray

Accidents happen, am I right?  However, there is no need to worry in this situation.  We have a quick and simple solution for you!

If you get a wet ring on your table from the solution dripping down the side of the bottle, or get over-splash on your wall and/or appliances when applying the finish to your floor – don’t fret!

You can remove the Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish or Quick Shine® High Traffic Hardwood Floor Luster from a variety of surfaces with WINDEX or FORMULA 409.  It’s that simple!  Apply either of these products directly onto the Quick Shine® splatter and leave it on for a minute or so, and then wipe it off with a damp cloth.  This method has worked for many of our consumers who needed to remove a small amount from appliances, countertops, or tables.  Ba-Da-Bing, Ba-Da-Boom!

      Hi Pat,

Yes, our Quick Shine Deep Cleaner will remove the over spray from your door. You will want to gently wipe away the Finish after the Deep Cleaner has sat for a minute on the surface to avoid scrubbing the paint away. For additional questions, please contact customer service at 800-255-1891. We are always happy to help!

my husband waxes my kitchen floors and always seems to spatter my stainless appliances with quick shine. we love the product but not on my appliances! I have quite a bit of buildup and how do I remove it. I’ve heard everything from acetone, vinegar, WD40, a hairdryer to melt it, 409, and on and on. Just do not know how to dissolve it! help.

      Hi Michele,

We recommend removing the splatters from your appliances with Formula 409 or Windex with ammonia. Spray either solution on the splatter and let sit for 1 minute before wiping away. This method has worked well for many consumers.

The general rule of thumb is to only apply Quick Shine Floor Finish or Luster every 2-6 months when needed. Our cleaners can be used weekly to maintain the shine. For more information, please contact customer service at 800-255-1891.

      Hi Mayra,

We recommend our Quick Shine Deep Cleaner to safely remove our Finish if the shine has become compromised. Simply dilute our Deep Cleaner with HOT water and mop solution over affected area, let sit 2-3 minutes and mop away. Finish with a clean water rinse. Once the area is clean and dry, you can reapply a new coat of our Finish to even out the shine again. If you have additional questions, please contact 800-255-1891. We are always happy to help!
